## What's changed

- NHS England published version 3 of the ICB practice agreement, with its sign-off document and appendices, on 8 May 2026. It sets the terms on which ICBs provide GP IT services and practices use them.
- Every ICB and every practice is expected to sign it, and to review the appendices, by 30 Sept 2026. Until both sides sign, the old CCG practice agreement (version 2) still applies.
- The operating model also lists retiring all Windows 10 operating systems in favour of Windows 11.

## Who it affects

All GP practices in England that receive NHS-funded IT services from their ICB.

## What to do

- Check whether the practice has signed version 3. It can be signed digitally.
- Review the appendices, including the list of services, supported premises and sub-contractors, and correct anything out of date.
- Check every sub-contractor that uses your systems, such as locums or a federation, is listed and meets the required standards.
- Ask your GP IT team whether any practice devices still run Windows 10.

## Deadline

The operating model set 30 Sept 2026 as the date for signing the new agreement. If you have not signed, contact your ICB now.
